For art shows, the work is specifically designs for the show. Actual artwork painting, sculptures, graphic design prints. For this years show we have just started, but when it comes closer I can let you know. But we take interviews and look at the artist portfolios before allowing anyone to show. But you have just as good of a chance as anyone.

Yes some are and the rest are abroad. My friend Dav and I throw an annual art show every year for arthop, we're actually getting ready for it, but it will not be until October or November.

Yap... are you working on any projects personal or clients etc? At Caltrans I've been designing a lot of certificates, something different.

Ya Im always busy working on the firms design and I have a couple freelance jobs I finishing up right now. But on top of those 2 I compete in design comp's and show personal work in art shows.

I do agree with you about leaning not so much at state, yet I have learned some important things, so it's really give and take in my mind. They will help you, yet if you want to become a good designer you must take it into your own hands and learn and see what design is all over the world. Ya I went to city to, I learned alot there to.
