The Iron Designer Challenge II was held on March 28-30, 2008. The beneficiary organization was CCMRS, a group that provides residential care and supportive living programs to developmentally disabled adults in the Central Valley.

The winning entry was revealed on April 15, 2008 at the Fresno Advertising Federation's bimonthly Schmooze & Booze. A total of 35 entries were submitted with a number of exceptional entries. The winning entry was submitted by Layne Lev.

About the winner

Layne Lev is originally from Fresno, and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication. Layne lives in Fresno with his wife, Melissa, their two daughters, Kaitlin and Ella, and their dachshund Rudy.

He has thirteen years of experience in the graphic arts industry and is one of the founding partners of Hundred10, a creative firm in Fresno specializing in web design as well as corporate identity and print communication systems.
