Welcome to ArtVenture

The ArtVenture Academy provides students with an engaging, arts-driven curriculum.

At each grade level, students are together for Art/Theatre, Language, Social Science and Science classes. Art/Theatre-related themes and projects are integrated across the urriculum, connecting learning to students’ lives and making learning fun. Unique course offerings, jobshadowing, internship programs, frequent counseling and academic support programs help prepare students for college or an entry level career in the arts.

The Academy experience gives students a small learning community in a big school where student/teacher relationships provide additional support for student success.

Program Design
McLane’s ArtVenture Academy has teamed up with community partners to offer an integrated school curriculum in a small learning community. Guest lecturers, job shadowing opportunities, on-site observations, field trips, mentoring relationships, tutoring sessions, and special workshops are sponsored throughout the four-year program.
