The Iron Designer Challenge is coming. Again. To participate, join this group.

What is Iron Designer?
We're taking the "Iron Chef" concept and applying it to our own industry. We've selected a non-profit in need of a new logo design and are looking for designers in the area willing to contribute some their time to contribute an idea. There is no limit to the number of participants - the more, the merrier.

Why should I participate?
Because we said to. And because you'll be doing your part to further a worthwhile cause. And because if your design is chosen you will have earned the respect and adoration of your peers. If you're an up-and-coming newbie, this is your chance to put the old dogs on notice that you've arrived. If you're a vet, this is your chance to show the young pups just how much they still have to learn. Still not enough? Ok fine, the winner will also get a one-of-a-kind Iron Design Champion iPod Nano.

How do I participate?
First, head here to enter your info on the signup page. The event will take place over a 72 hour period beginning at 5pm on Thursday, November 13th and ending at 5pm on Sunday, the 16th. The project will be revealed exactly at 5pm on Thursday and entrants may spend as little or as much time during the event working on concepts. Final entries must be submitted via PDF by the deadline to be considered. The winner will be chosen by the non-profit and announced at Pangea on November 20th.
